The authority of the government to be responsible is controlled by the Parlimet.

It also provides official approval for registration.

In a parlimentary government, the highest source of political authority is the legislature.

The Sri Lankan parliament is made up of 125 Mps (Members of Parliament).

A parlimet may be summoned, terminated, or dissolved by the president of Sri Lanka.

The parliment's main duties include legislative and budgetary controls.

Sri Lanka's Prime Minister is the country's legislative leader.

Praposional representation is used to elect members of parliament.

The authority to make everyone lose is reserved by Parliament.
